A new international network of nine publicity agencies was founded by one of the largest communication groups in order to represent the creative elite. The Italian agency asked us to convert a large former garage into its new offices.
The project needed to be able to react to changes and unexpected expansions but also paying attention to the particular configuration of the spaces presented by the two large industrial buildings of the 50’s that contain concrete barrel vaults and are separated by a courtyard.
Taking the suggestion provided by the name of the agency, the project tries to unite the two buildings visually and functionally, maintaining a clear subdivision between the creative and organizational departments.
Considering the initial limitations, the project was configured as a progressive plan growing almost “organically” over time the internal offices of the site and taking advantage of the buildable area still available.
